Services include but are not limited to emergency towing, flatbed towing, roadside assistance, car lockout service, jump start service, battery replacement, accident recovery, flat tire change, motorcycle towing, long distance towing, winch out service, and heavy duty towing.

We reserve the right to decline service in situations that pose a safety risk to our operators or to the public, or where the requested service falls outside our service area or capability.

2. Service Requests and Agreements

When you request a service, you agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle, location, and the nature of your situation. Providing false or misleading information may result in the cancellation of your service request and you may be responsible for any associated costs.

By authorizing us to tow or service your vehicle, you represent that you are the registered owner of the vehicle or have the legal authority to authorize services on the owner's behalf.

3. Pricing and Payment

We provide price estimates before beginning any work. All prices are subject to change based on actual conditions encountered upon arrival. You will be informed of any price changes before we proceed. By authorizing us to begin work, you agree to pay the final amount owed.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, major credit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at the time of service. We are not responsible for any bank or processing fees associated with your payment method.

Cancellations made after a driver has been dispatched may be subject to a trip fee. You will be informed of the applicable fee at the time of cancellation.

4. Vehicle Release and Authorization

By requesting towing service, you authorize us to move your vehicle to the destination you specify. If the destination changes after the tow has begun, additional charges may apply. You are responsible for ensuring your chosen destination is prepared to receive the vehicle.

If we need to store your vehicle, storage fees will apply based on our standard daily rate. You will be informed of storage rates before any storage period begins. Failure to claim your vehicle within the agreed-upon timeframe may result in additional fees or transfer of the vehicle in accordance with applicable New York State law.

5. Limitation of Liability

We take every precaution to handle your vehicle safely. However, Amityville Towing Service is not liable for pre-existing damage to your vehicle, damage resulting from manufacturer defects or structural weaknesses, or damage caused by road or weather conditions that are outside our control.

In the event of damage that is directly caused by our negligence, our total liability shall not exceed the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for any personal property left inside the vehicle during towing or storage.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of income, missed appointments, or vehicle rental costs.

6. Insurance

Amityville Towing Service carries general liability insurance and garage keepers liability insurance as required by New York State law. Proof of insurance is available upon request. We encourage customers to maintain their own comprehensive vehicle insurance as our coverage may not extend to all circumstances.
